A downloadable game for Windows

" DIRUND - The Myriad" was created in June 2017 as part of the Game Creation Organization Online Jam Year 2, the theme being "Colorful Combat".

The concept is loosely based on my science fiction/alternative reality setting Dirund, which I'm currently developing in a number of different contexts.

I really liked working with the stylized visuals for this - definitely more to come in this style!

"The Myriad" in its current form is a bit of a glitchorama, the main problem being that the enemies lose the will to fight after a while, but I decided I didn't want to mess more with the already buggy AI just before the deadline.

It builds on a number of third party systems, but the main content (including original music) was created by a single person over a single weekend on a diet of pizza, cheap beer, coffee and cigarettes.

I expect to upload an updated version with at least the worst annoyances fixed when the rating period for the game jam is over.
